We are extremely proud to have at our stables, a magnificent FPS registered Friesian stallion, Jans Oene available for stud by artificial insemination.

Jan Oene is the full brother of the World Champion Onne 376 and offers great potential as world class sire.

Jan Oene is a Baroque Style Friesian. VERY HANDSOME and is blue/black in colour. His mane, already 1.3 metres long with a tail to match, is naturally curly and very thick.

Jan Oene is 6 years old and he came to us at the age of 4 from the Netherlands. During this time all of his training programmes have been a great success using our natural horsemanship skills, both free training and under saddle. He has an exceptional attitude to work and play and enjoys all aspects of training with us.

Jan is a very friendly, loving horse who will bond naturally and easily with everybody. He is obviously easy to do in all ways. His looks as you can see are stunning and he is even better looking in the flesh! His movement is outstanding. A real showman. His conformation is perfect. He has an incredible 11 inches of bone and yet he is very agile, very much as is his brother Oene.

Being flexible and light on his feet enables him to excel in the dressage sphere. Jan is proving impressive talent in his dressage skills.

Jan Oene IS an impeccable Friesian Horse in every way. He will be out competing this coming season.

Registration: He is registered with HET FRIESCH PAARDEN STAMBOEK (FPS).

Lineage: He is out of top International stallion Leffert 306 who was awarded PREFERENT status and his offspring have excelled in dressage and carriage driving among many other disciplines. His is the full brother to Oene 376 World Champion.

Vaccinations and Screenings: Jan been tested negative for CEM (Contagious Equine Metritis), EVA ( Equine Viral Anaemia) and EIA (Equine Infectious anaemia/ Coggins), he will be re-tested every year for these diseases - as every stallion should be. We hold certificates from our Vet.

We do not live cover due to increasing numbers of EVA, CEM and EIA as we firmly believe in keeping these diseases at bay.
